WE'LL TEND TO WHAT'S heavy
AND MAKE ROOM FOR NEW growth
growth.
heavy

Life brings seasons of growth, pause, and change. Sometimes the path feels uncertain, overwhelming, or heavy with the weight of too much to carry. You don’t have to navigate that alone. The work we do together is grounded in curiosity, care, and creativity, helping you find steadiness, confidence, and connection again.
Whether you’re a child learning how to express big feelings, a family seeking harmony, an individual feeling worn down, or a first responder managing immense responsibility and stress, there is space here for support, clarity, and healing.
Maybe You Are...
A child or adolescent
-
having big feelings that are hard to explain with words.
-
getting in trouble for emotions you don’t understand yet.
-
a good kid who’s having a hard time.

Children and teens often communicate stress, trauma, anxiety, or overwhelm through behavior rather than words. This may look like emotional outbursts, withdrawal, difficulty with transitions, challenges at school, or big reactions that feel hard to manage. I provide developmentally appropriate, experiential therapy that supports emotional regulation, expression, and confidence. Sessions may include movement, creative activities, and body-based interventions to help young clients feel safer in their bodies and more capable of navigating big emotions, with caregiver collaboration to support change beyond the therapy room.
A family or parents
-
stuck in the same arguments and not sure how to break the cycle.
-
trying your best, but feeling disconnected from each other.
-
wanting tools to help your family feel calmer, closer, and more understood.

Families often seek therapy when communication feels strained, conflict escalates quickly, or stress and life transitions begin to impact connection. In family therapy, we work with patterns related to reactivity, miscommunication, parenting challenges, and the effects of stress or trauma within the family system. Using a trauma-responsive, experiential approach, therapy focuses on slowing cycles, restoring a sense of safety, and building practical tools that help families relate with more clarity, understanding, and stability.

Maybe You Are...
An adult
-
feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, even when life looks fine on the outside.
-
aware of how past experiences still echo in your body and relationships.
-
ready for therapy that helps you slow down, reconnect, and find solid footing again.
Adults may come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or stuck in patterns they understand logically but struggle to change. Concerns often include stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, trauma responses, or feeling “on edge” without a clear reason. I work with individuals using an integrative, experiential approach that goes beyond talk therapy to support nervous system regulation, deeper self-awareness, and meaningful, sustainable change.
A service member or first responder
-
trained to stay alert, even when your body doesn’t know how to stand down.
-
carrying cumulative stress or trauma from repeated exposure over time.
-
seeking grounded, practical support that helps your nervous system reset and recover.
Military members and first responders often experience cumulative stress, trauma exposure, hypervigilance, sleep disruption, emotional numbing, or difficulty fully unwinding off duty. I offer grounded, trauma-responsive therapy that respects the demands and culture of these roles. Sessions focus on regulation, recovery, and practical strategies for managing stress, reactivity, burnout, and the long-term impact of repeated exposure—without pressure to disclose or relive experiences before you’re ready.
Navigating Grief
Do you find yourself
-
trying to move forward while still feeling the loss deeply?
-
learning how to carry what you’ve lost without feeling swallowed by it?
-
finding that grief moves in waves, not straight lines?
Grief can show up as sadness, numbness, anger, anxiety, exhaustion, or a sense that life no longer feels familiar. Whether the loss is recent or long-held, expected or sudden, grief often moves in waves rather than straight lines. I provide a supportive, steady space to process loss at your own pace, using gentle, experiential approaches that support grounding, emotional expression, and learning how to carry what has been lost while continuing to live meaningfully.
Healing Trauma
Do you find yourself
-
living in a body that stays on high alert, even when you’re safe?
-
reacting to the present through the lens of past experiences?
-
seeking a slower, more grounded approach to healing that honors your pace?
Trauma often shows up in the present as anxiety, shutdown, emotional reactivity, difficulty trusting, or feeling unsafe in your own body. Rather than focusing solely on retelling what happened, I offer trauma-responsive therapy that prioritizes safety, pacing, and nervous system regulation. Through experiential and body-based interventions, therapy supports reducing reactivity, increasing stability, and restoring a greater sense of connection and agency over time.
